Curved surfaces (shower floors/walls) require mosaic tiles because of their ability to follow the slope. Mosaics are designed in a pattern, typically on a mesh sheet; using porcelain, ceramic, glass, stone, metal, etc., or a mixture of all of the above! Maintenance depends on the material; install (most) mosaics on your floors, walls, or even outside!
