To create porcelain tiles, a mixture of fine clays and minerals are fired at extremely high temperatures. This process makes it harder and denser than ceramic tile. Porcelain tile can be thru/color-body (unlike ceramic), is resistant to staining, bacteria and odors, and repels water. It’s very difficult to scratch, fire resistant and comes in a gorgeous variety of shapes, colors and styles. It’s virtually maintenance free, so install it on your floors, walls, or even outside!
