Countertops & slab surfaces
Frequently asked questions
From choosing a slab to installation day, here’s what to expect.
Getting started
Appointments are recommended so we can set aside time to review your project and help with selections.
Send us cabinet plans or rough measurements, photos of your space, and any materials you’re considering. Include details such as a slab backsplash, waterfall edge, or existing countertop removal.
Some stock materials have square-foot pricing. Your complete estimate also considers the layout, edge details, sink cutouts, backsplash, and installation requirements. We’ll review these details to price your project accurately.
Choosing your slab
Absolutely. We’ll compare options based on your style, budget, how you use the space, and your maintenance preferences.
We can help coordinate slab viewing based on the material and its location. Viewing the full slab is especially helpful for understanding natural stone’s color and movement.
Yes—ask our team about borrowing available samples to compare with your cabinets, lighting, and other finishes.
Measurement & installation
Cabinets must be secured in their final positions, with your selected sink and faucet on-site. You or an authorized decision-maker should be present.
Timing varies with material availability, project details, and our production schedule. We’ll discuss your expected timeline during planning.
Countertop removal can be included in your estimate. Plumbing and electrical work must be arranged separately.
Your backsplash is measured after the countertops are installed to ensure an accurate fit. It’s then fabricated and installed at a separate appointment.
Tile
We offer tile for a wide range of projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and more. Our team helps with selections and ordering; your contractor or tile installer handles installation.
We’ll help with selections, provide square-foot pricing, and confirm availability and lead times. Your installer should verify final quantities before we place your order.
